In the event of a disaster, it is necessary to minimize damage and protect human life with the highest priority. The Earthquake Engineering Laboratory aims to improve the safety of social infrastructure facilities during an earthquake and protect people's safety by improving the earthquake resistance of structures, developing new technologies and materials, and using artificial intelligence technology. We are engaged in research related to disaster prevention and mitigation from both tangible and intangible aspects.
